5318008art has been created through an appreciation of maths, art and breasts, and some boredom busting through COVID-19 Lockdown 1.0 in the United Kingdom.
After some initial research for a new project logo, I came across the mathematical concept of 'Radical Lines'. Each radical line is essentially a focus of points of equal circle power. Technical 'doodling' of circles and radical lines developed into the formation of some visually unique art pieces. And finally, an innate appreciation of breasts lent itself neatly to circles and the introduction of nipples, areola and mammaries into the pieces of art. The secret really does lie in the eye of the beholder, knowing the actual image behind the mathematical art.
And of course to continue the mathematics theme from when I was a schoolboy... 5318008 entered on a calculator + read upside down = BOOBIES.
The art has developed through general positions of the human body to nude yoga poses and pregnancy bump imagery, and the opportunity to highlight breast cancer awareness with double mastectomy pieces of art and donations to CoppaFeel! charity.
The initial perception of 5318008ART is a collection of circles and radical lines, yet beyond and behind that there is a portrait of a human individual.
It is great to be able to use 5318008ART as body-positive artwork and to celebrate diversity of the human body. Each personalised piece is based on colour, size and proportion of an individual's prominences - natural, augmented, more or less than a handful, gravity-enhanced, post-surgery, tattoed, with or without a piercing.
I am a male in a strong equal partnership, where each one lies behind the other as a support mechanism. My wife and I are working hard to raise our teenage son and daughter as empowered individuals in a world where they are becoming confident beings and forging their own paths.
Of course, living in a virtual world, the original images are securely kept during the artwork process and only used for the purpose of creating 5318008ART. I would be keen to hear from anyone who would like to consider their own personalised piece of 5318008ART.
